Nursery through 5^th grade

Sunday Small Group Classes

Sunday small group classes (ages 2 – 5^th grade) meet at 9:45 a.m. in a small group atmosphere.  This is an excellent way for children to interact and fellowship with other kids their age.  This is also a great time in which they can talk about Bible lessons and how each lesson applies to their lives. There are dedicated teachers at every age level who love the Lord and love sharing His word with children.

Nursery Care
Nursery Care is provided for infants and toddlers (prior to age 2) during all scheduled church activities.  Pagers are available to give parents peace of mind while leaving their child in a safe and secure nursery with our qualified adult and youth volunteers.

FB C.O.O.L. Kids Large Group

 Children’s large group worship time has “elevated” to a whole new level.  Children, Kindergarten (5 years old by Sept. 1, 2010) through 5^th grade, are invited to Byrd Hall after a children’s message during the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services. Children will take an imaginative journey based upon a Biblical Theme Park Map.  Each theme or destination point lasts for 8 weeks so the learning environment remains fresh and exciting.  We invite you to come along and join us each Sunday for a brand new Bible adventure that includes fun kids worship and games.

FB C.O.O.L. Kiddies Large Group

 Preschool Children are invited to leave after a children’s message during the 11:00 a.m. worship service to room #302.  Preschoolers will have a specially designed curriculum called Elevate Jr.  It is based upon the same theme as the elementary kids, just at their level.  They get to take an imaginative journey every 8 weeks to a new destination point that will teach them about people and places in the Bible.

FB C.O.O.L. Kids Clubs

Children meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Two sessions per year are available for children ages 2 through 5^th grades.  The first session is September through December and the second session is January through April. Both sessions include a children’s music program along with small group classes for each grade level.

A Bible Quiz Class is offered on Wednesday evenings at FB C.O.O.L. Kids Club for 3^rd through 5^th graders. This is a fun, fast paced class consisting of drills, games, Bible reviews of famous stories, places and people. We enjoy fun competitions where every child is a winner.

Music Opportunities
 All children can participate with the music program during FB C.O.O.L. Kids Club on Wednesday evenings.

 Children's Hand chimes
This is an opportunity for children in 1^st and 2^nd grades to learn hand chime fundamentals and perform for the congregation during the holiday season. 

Children's Hand bells

This is an opportunity for children in 3^rd – 5^th grades to learn the fundamentals of hand bells and perform for the congregation during the holiday season.

Joyful Noise Choir

This is a wonderful opportunity for children 2 years old through Kindergarten to practice singing worship songs.  Our FB C.O.O.L. kiddies are given the opportunity to perform for the congregation during worship services and for special holiday programs.

 Kings Kids Choir

This choir consists of 1^st through 5^th graders.  They learn praise songs and have the opportunity to perform for the congregation during worship services and for special holiday programs.

Other Opportunities

Acolytes
Children in grades 3-5 are invited to share in this ministry of assistance under the training of the pastor and the Worship Team. Acolytes participate in both of the morning worship services.

Special Seasonal and Mission Activities
At various times throughout the year, children are offered special holiday gatherings and service projects that help them to learn more about our religious celebrations and mission emphasis.

Vacation Bible School
A special week-long VBS program provided during the third week of June for children nursery through 5^th grade. All children are invited to attend and bring their friends for a fun week of learning about God’s love, singing new songs, making special crafts, playing awesome games, making new friends, and enjoying cool refreshments!

Children's Outreach Ministries
We have a great preschool program for 2 to 4 year olds.  We also have latchkey and day care programs to meet the demands of today's working parents.  Follow this link to find out more.
